Las Vegas Tattoo Culture (“LVTC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates LasVegasTattooCulture.com (the “Site”), an independent Las Vegas tattoo directory and editorial publication based in Nevada. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this Policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

We collect information you submit directly through the Site, including:

  • Contact forms ??? your name, email address, and message.
  • Artist submissions ??? name, email, phone, studio affiliation, Instagram/portfolio links, styles, bio, and images you upload.
  • Studio submissions ??? studio name, address, phone, email, website, social links, hours, and images.
  • Supplier submissions ??? business name, contact details, service area, product categories, and related information.
  • Event submissions ??? event details, dates, venue, organizer name and contact information, links, and flyer/images.
  • Permission and consent records ??? when you e-sign a content, image, studio, artist, or event permission, we record your name, email, typed signature, the agreement version, your IP address, and a timestamp, as a record of consent.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs ??? our hosting provider records standard web-server logs (pages requested, timestamps, referring URLs, and similar technical data).
  • IP addresses ??? collected in server logs, with form submissions (for security and anti-spam), and by analytics tools.
  • Device and browser data ??? browser type, device type, operating system, and general approximate location (derived from IP) via analytics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies ??? see “Cookies” below.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences (including your cookie-consent choice, stored for up to 365 days), measure traffic, and improve performance. Essential cookies are required for the Site to function. Analytics cookies help us understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality. Our cookie banner notifies you of our use of cookies on your first visit.

Analytics

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it. These tools may set cookies and collect usage data such as pages viewed, clicks, referral sources, device information, and approximate location.

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) ??? provided by Google, used to measure traffic and engagement. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google processes data. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Microsoft Clarity ??? where enabled, we use Microsoft Clarity for aggregated usage analytics such as heatmaps and session statistics, to understand how pages are used and improve them. See Microsoft’s privacy statement for details.

We do not use analytics to identify you individually, and we do not sell analytics data.

Embedded Content

Pages on the Site may include embedded content from third parties, including Instagram posts/profiles and YouTube or Vimeo videos. Embedded content behaves as if you visited that third-party site directly: those providers may collect data about you, set cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control these third parties.

Advertising and Marketing Pixels

We do not currently run third-party advertising pixels. In the future we may use advertising or conversion technologies such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel or the TikTok Pixel to measure and promote LVTC. If we add such technologies, we will update this Policy and our cookie notice accordingly, and they will be used consistent with the choices described here.

How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its directory and editorial content.
  • To review, publish, and promote artist, studio, supplier, and event listings you submit (subject to our editorial review and your permissions).
  • To respond to your inquiries and process submissions.
  • To measure traffic and improve performance and user experience.
  • To protect the Site, prevent spam and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Site (e.g., hosting, email delivery, analytics), bound to appropriate confidentiality.
  • As part of published listings/editorial content you submitted or consented to publish.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of LVTC, our users, or the public.

Image and Content Rights

Artists, studios, suppliers, and event organizers retain ownership of the content they submit. By submitting content, you grant Las Vegas Tattoo Culture a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and market that content on the Site and associated social media channels for promotional purposes related to LVTC. See our Terms of Use for full details. You may request removal of your content at any time using the contact below.

Data Retention

We retain submission and consent records for as long as needed to operate the directory, maintain a record of permissions, and comply with legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Server logs and analytics data are retained according to our providers’ standard retention periods.

Your Rights and Choices

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have provided, or withdraw a permission you granted, by contacting us. Nevada residents: under Nevada law (NRS 603A), you have the right to direct us not to sell certain covered personal information. We do not sell personal information; you may still submit a request to confirm this preference. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

Children’s Privacy

The Site concerns tattooing and is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including secured form handling and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party websites (e.g., studio sites, booking pages, social profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; review their policies before providing information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice on the Site.
