About Las Vegas Tattoo Culture

A premium editorial publication and curated ecosystem covering the Las Vegas tattoo scene ??? artists, studios, suppliers, conventions.

Las Vegas Tattoo Culture is an independent Las Vegas tattoo culture publication covering the city’s tattoo scene through articles, education, equipment reviews, business analysis, conventions, events, and cultural commentary. We publish original editorial work on topics that shape the local tattoo industry.

The publication is based in Las Vegas. Editorial standards are set and applied by the LVTC Editorial Team. All editorial decisions — what to cover, how to cover it, when to publish — are made uniformly and documented on our editorial standards page.

Why this exists

The existing coverage of Las Vegas tattoo culture comes from either local business directories (which list businesses without editorial judgment) or national blog networks (which treat Vegas as one market among many). Neither serves the actual scene — the working artists, the studios doing real custom and flash work, the suppliers and conventions that move the culture forward.

We are building something different: a publication that covers the Las Vegas tattoo scene with editorial integrity. The argument is that taste, expertise, and editorial judgment are themselves a form of utility — that curated coverage written by someone who knows the scene is worth more than either a generic directory or national lifestyle content.

Who’s behind it

Las Vegas Tattoo Culture is an independent tattoo culture publication published in-house by the LVTC Editorial Team. The publication is not owned by, affiliated with, or operated on behalf of any tattoo studio, artist, or supplier. The editorial team sets all standards, makes all coverage decisions, and manages all editorial fact-checking uniformly and documented on our standards page.

This is the launch year for the publication. We are publishing our editorial standards publicly at the outset, not after we have scaled, because we believe a publication’s credibility rests on its standards.

What we cover

  • Articles — long-form editorial stories on trends, profiles, and culture within the Las Vegas tattoo scene.
  • Education — guides and primers on tattoo history, technique, aftercare, and industry literacy.
  • Equipment — reviews and analysis of tattoo equipment, supplies, and tools from a practitioner perspective.
  • Business — coverage of studio operations, economics, regulations, and industry trends affecting Las Vegas tattoo work.
  • Conventions — coverage of tattoo conventions, exhibitions, and major events in Las Vegas and relevant to the local scene.
  • Events — announcements of conferences, workshops, community events, and cultural gatherings related to tattoo culture.
  • Culture — commentary on Las Vegas tattoo history, artistic movements, community figures, and cultural significance.
  • Newsletter — curated weekly roundup of industry news, opportunities, and cultural updates for subscribers.

What we are not

  • A directory of tattoo shops, artists, or suppliers. We do not maintain a business listing or ranking system.
  • A review aggregator. We do not collect consumer ratings. We publish editorial analysis, not aggregate scores.
  • A listing or submission platform. This is not a marketplace or pay-to-play portal.
  • A national tattoo blog. We cover Las Vegas. Content outside the valley is not in scope unless directly relevant to the local scene.
  • An AI-generated content farm. Every editorial piece published here is written by a human, reviewed against editorial standards, and dated.
